The Dzogchen Shri Singha Foundation is pleased to announce the 2022 Dzogchen Buddha Path Daka Internet Teaching Program.

This Teaching Program will be taught in English by Benevolent Dharma Acharya Educator Tim Ros, under the guidance of  His Eminence Dzogchen Khenpo Choga Rinpoche. This weekend teaching will be held over Zoom. This event presents an ideal opportunity to deepen your understanding and experience of the Dzogchen Lineage teachings.

The 2022 Dzogchen Buddha Path Daka Internet Teaching Program will commence at 7 PM on Friday, February 11th, and conclude at 10 PM on Sunday, February 13th 2022 (Pacific Standard Time). This unique event for men is held once a year, and is scheduled to coincide with the Super Bowl. Our teacher, Dharma Acharya Educator Tim Ros, has received special teachings from His Eminence Dzogchen Khenpo Choga Rinpoche. These teachings are intended to benefit men in today’s modern culture.

During this event, students will receive Dharma teachings while also engaging in a variety of Dharma activities such as sharing their experience as male Buddhist practitioners, and observing the annual American ritual of the Super Bowl while holding Dharma in mind. All of our activities are engaged in joyfully as Buddhist practice.

 


About the Lineage and our Root Teacher

A vibrant and dynamic teacher Dzogchen Khenpo Choga Rinpoche is a 33rd-generation lineage holder of the Buddhist wisdom lineage of Dzogchen, a Lama of Dzogchen Monastery, and a professor of the Dzogchen Shri Singha University. Dzogchen Khenpo Choga Rinpoche has more than seven years of solitary cave meditation experience in the high Tibetan holy mountains and embodies the qualities of a realized practitioner and yogi. Rinpoche is a published author of numerous Tibetan and English books, including The Buddha Path, a practice book that encompasses all of Buddha’s teachings, which is now available in English, Chinese, Russian, and German. It is soon to be released in Estonian, Japanese, Nepali, and Spanish.

About the Teacher

Dharma Acharya Educator Tim Ros first took refuge with His Eminence Dzogchen Khenpo Choga Rinpoche on October 1, 2011. He has attended 4 seasonal retreats and 7 one-month internships. Dharma Acharya Tim has been teachings publicly for 9 years and received his teaching title on September 14, 2018. Dharma Acharya Tim currently resides in Portland, Oregon, and has been a member of the Portland Dharma Center since 2009, where he currently serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors.

 


About the Teaching Program

Program Fee: $108

The fees are used to pay for technology service costs. The fee for this Internet Teaching Program is $108 per person. If you wish to request financial support, we encourage you to do so on the registration page.

 

As always, the teachings and ceremonies themselves are offered free of charge. However, it is traditional in Buddhism for the student to make an individual offering to the teacher during the program. You may voluntarily make an offering to the teacher at anytime during the program. It is most auspicious to do this at the beginning of the program, at the end of the opening ceremony.
