Orgyen Kunchok Dorje

Upasaka Bodhisattva Orgyen Kunchok Dorje (Devan Miller) is a devoted Vajrayana Student and an authorized Dharma teacher of The Buddha Path under the guidance of H.E. Dzogchen Khenpo Choga Rinpoche within the Dzogchen Longchen Nyingthig Lineage of Vajrayana Tibetan Buddhism.

Devan has graduated from four Dzogchen Lineage Internships since 2012, emersed in intensive Dharma learning and practice in close proximity to his precious Root Guru. Devan also has an advanced degree in Interdisciplinary Fine Art and art history from the San Francisco Art Institute and has developed wilderness awareness skills and literacy of nature, ecology and sustainable agriculture through apprenticeships and field study.

Devan began practicing The Buddha Path and receiving authentic Dharma teachings from Dzogchen Khenpo Choga Rinpoche in August of 2002. Since then he has developed deep faith in his teacher and Buddha’s teachings. As a child he learning walking and sitting meditation techniques, his interest in Dharma awoke as a teenager through reading books on Buddhism. He took formal Dzogchen Lineage Buddhist refuge vows 2009 and took Bodhisattva vows in August 2011.

Devan Miller teaches Dharma at Dharma centers, universities, libraries etc. on the teachings of Buddha in accordance with the curriculum of The Buddha Path. He is a founding member of the Dzogchen Dharma Center in Port Angeles which has held weekly Buddha Path practice since 2010. He currently serves as President and for the Port Angeles Dzogchen Dharma Center. He has volunteered many hours as a builder at the Dzogchen Retreat Center from 2009 to the present and served as the 2015 Dzogchen Lineage Internship Director.
He shows his dedication to his sangha and the overall community as a Dzogchen Lineage Dharma Teacher, an organizer for Dharma teachings and special events, a compassionate counsellor for individuals, couples and families. He is also a new father and works as a builder and designer, an artist and educator, and a Central Asian music producer and cultural tour guide.

Devan aspires to preserve and perpetuate the Buddhist system in this world through teaching Dharma and creating Dharma centers, Dharma temples, Dharma Universities and Enlightened Communities with the great goal of creating world peace, helping all beings to be free from suffering and the causes of suffering and establishing all beings in true happiness. In addition he aspires to support and assist H.E. Dzogchen Khenpo Choga Rinpoche in accomplishing his book writing and translation projects and fulfilling all of his enlightened aspirations.
