History of the Dzogchen Buddha Path Great Miracle Aspiration Retreat
In 2016, the first Dzogchen Buddha Path Great Miracle Aspiration Retreat took place in Shravasti, India. The international Dzogchen Buddha Path Sangha, along with the Tibetan Buddhist monks from Nepal and India gathered together to practice in the sacred Dakini place in Godawari and the birthplace of Buddha in Lumbini in Nepal, and the place of Buddha’s great miracle display in Shravasti, India.
This year, the fifth Dzogchen Buddha Path Great Miracle Aspiration Retreat will take place at the holy dakini land of Godawari.
About this Holy Site, the Excellent Gathered Perfection of Sacred Location
This holy site of Godawari is the sacred holy place of Vajrawarahi and Hayagriwa, known as the left ear Dakini city, one of the 24 naturally present Dakini holy cities. Those who make pilgrimage and practice in this holy place will receive great blessings from Vajrawarahi, Hayagriwa, and all enlightened dakas and dakinis, will easily accumulate a great amount of merit in a short time, and swiftly accomplish the common and supreme attainments.
Pilgrimage Opportunity
Also at this time, Rinpoche and the Sangha will make pilgrimage to holy sites in Nepal, such as the Boudhanath Stupa, where the Longchen Nyingthig treasure was revealed by our great lineage master Jigme Lingpa 290 years ago, the Swayambunath Stupa, Pharping, and so on. For those who would like to make pilgrimage to the other major Buddhist holy sites such as Lumbini, Bodhgaya, Varanasi, Kushinagar, and so on, Rinpoche and the Sangha will provide guidance.

On this day 2,940 years ago, Buddha Shakyamuni gloriously displayed the Miracle of the Luminous Five-Colored Rainbow Sphere of Primordial Omniscient Wisdom at the holy site of Shravasti for countless enlightened beings, gods, humans, nagas, and various other beings.

Applications are currently being accepted. We welcome applications from all who would like to attend. We encourage all sincere and well-intentioned Buddhist students to apply.
Admission to the Buddha Path Great Miracle Aspiration Retreat will be based on an application process. The Buddha Path Miracle Retreat Committee will review all applications.
Attendance is very limited; not everyone who applies will necessarily be admitted.
Those who want to participate must apply before the application deadline of 15 February, 2020.
Late applications will not be considered.

For the True Happiness of all beings,
I will swiftly become Buddha in this very life.

the Great Miracles of Buddha Shakyamuni.
Dear Sangha Practitioners,
2,940 years ago, Buddha Shakyamuni displayed great miracle powers at the great holy site of Shravasti, Northern India for fifteen days starting on the first day of the first lunar month and ending on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month.
One of the most precious holy times in Buddhism is the first month of the Tibetan lunar calendar, called Chotrul Dawa, the Great Miracle Month. In 2020, Chotrul Dawa begins on Monday, the 24th of February and ends on Tuesday, the 24th of March.
This month is an auspicious time to engage in Dharma practice, virtuous activities, and miracle displays. During this month of Chotrul Dawa, the karma of positive and negative intentions and actions increases ten million (10,000,000) times or more.
Most notably, Monday, the 9th of March, 2020, corresponding to the 15th day of the first lunar month, is the Supreme Excellent Time of Buddha’s Great Miracle Display, Chotrul Duchen.
Thus, I, along with the support of the International Dzogchen Shri Singha Community, will conduct The Buddha Path Great Miracle Aspiration Retreat from the 4th of March through the 10th of March, 2020 at this holy place of Godawari, Nepal.
I sincerely invite all Sangha to attend this auspicious Buddha Path Great Miracle Aspiration Retreat. Those who are unable to attend this retreat, I encourage you to join us by gathering together in your local Dharma temples or Dharma Centers during this time to practice The Buddha Path.
